Why does Sharpsend ask for several permission requests?

The accessibility feature occasionally turns itself off automatically on some Android devices. Unfortunately, Sharpsend has no control over this and it is a known bug in the Android operating system.

However, on most devices, you can disable app optimization for Sharpsend in Settings to stop it from disabling accessibility. This is usually found in Settings > Battery.

Here are some more possible solutions… please give them a try!

1. Enable “Battery Optimization”.

For devices with Android 6.0 and higher, go to Settings -> Battery, click the menu icon in the top-right corner (3 vertical dots), and select “Battery Optimization”. Then select “All Apps” from the drop-down list, select Sharpsend, and choose “Don’t Optimize”.
For Samsung Galaxy devices (SG 5 and later), check to see if you have App Battery Optimizer in Samsung Smart Manager app enabled. Please disable this as it is known to disable Sharpsend’s Accessibility Service. You’ll want to go to Android Settings > General > Battery, and look under App Optimization and select Details. Then find Sharpsend and turn it off.
For Huawei phones, go to Settings > Apps > Advanced Options > Ignore Optimizations and toggle “allow” for Sharpsend.
For Some Xiaomi models try the following flow:
Go to settings >>Installed apps >> Sharpsend >> Other Permissions >> Enable all options. Then go to accessibility and disable and enable for Sharpsend.
Try to block something on your block list.
For other devices, it is possible that you might have a task manager that automatically closes applications periodically. If you do, please add Sharpsend to the whitelist (apps that are excluded from being automatically closed) of the application.

2. Make sure that ‘Draw over other apps‘ is enabled for Sharpsend.
